29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10):  Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest system or other fall protection system.    The employer does not protect employees from falling when working 6 feet or more above lower levels on low sloped roofs.  This violation was observed on or about June 11, 2012, on the northeast side of the structure where employees were exposed to a 9 foot 10 inch fall hazard when plastering a wall without a fall protection system.    H&J Plastering was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 C.F.R. 1926.451(g)(4)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314338849, citation number 1, Item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on November 22, 2010 with a final abatement date of March 15, 2010, with respect to a workplace located at 10222 East Freeway, Jacinto City, TX 77029.
