29 CFR 1926.602(c)(1)(vii): Unauthorized persons were allowed to ride on a powered industrial truck:    The employer does not protect its employees by providing a safe place to ride. This violation was observed on or about June 13, 2012, at the job-site on the Southeast corner of FM 2920 and Stuebner Airline Road where two employees were exposed to a struck-by hazard while standing on the outside steps of the loader and riding the loader as the loader was travelling in the lane of traffic, westbound on FM 2920.   Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the abatement date, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that personnel are not permitted to ride on powered industrial trucks where a safe place to ride is not provided.
