29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v):     A body belt with lanyard attached to the boom or basket was not worn by employees working from an aerial lift:    a)  Howard Street, Vineland, NJ:  Employees were exposed to fall hazards while working from the basket of a JLG 600S extensible articulating boom lift, stripping the brick veneer from the face of a cinder block wall.  The workers were not wearing any form of personal fall protection.  Observed on or about 6/12/2012.    NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
