29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there is a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, shall be protected by protective helmets: A. Dave Stoll Construction worksite located at Coldcreek Ct., Sylvania, Ohio: On or about June 26, 2012, the employer did not ensure employees wore hard hats while exposed to overhead hazards. An employee was exposed to the potential of falling material while handling lumber to the second story.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure: A. Dave Stoll Construction worksite located at Coldcreek Ct., Sylvania, Ohio: On or about June 26, 2012, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from fall hazards while performing framing activities on the two story wood frame residential structure. Employees were exposed to a fall distance of approximately 10.00 feet while working above the garage. Dave Stoll Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 110708, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on May 8, 2012, with respect to a workplace located at Monclova, OH.
