29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): ): Employees were not provided effective information and training as specified in 29 CFR1910.1200(h)(2) and (3) on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new physical or health hazard was introduced into their work area: a. On or about June 19, 2012, employees, working throughout the facility, were handling hazardous chemicals such as, but not limited to acetylene, oxygen, isopropyl alcohol solution (30-91%), machine mold cleaners, and hydrogen peroxide 30%, and were not provided with information on the health and physical hazards of the chemicals. Abatement documentation is required.
