29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a) 4 Springfield St Three Rivers, MA: On or about June 8, 2012, employees were observed moving boxes of solar panels in close proximity to the edge of the roof without any fall protection as required by this subpart: Tecta America New England LLC was previously cited for a violation(s) of a similar occupational health and safety standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(B)(10) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 309556645 which became final order on August 8, 2007 with respect to a violation at Nottingham Square Rt 3 A Hudson, NH.
