The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: This employer is failing to ensure employees are protected from falls greater than 6 feet during roofing work. This violation was most recently observed at the work site located at 835 & 833 N. Coolidge St., Wichita, Kansas where employees were exposed to fall hazards in that the employer did not train the employees when and how to use fall protection.

This violation was most recently observed at the work site located at 835 & 833 N. Coolidge St., Wichita, Kansas where employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 11 feet to the ground while re-roofing a duplex home with a 5 in 12 pitch roof. L.J. Beck Roofing & Guttering, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (name previously cited standard), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314464769, citation number 01, item number 002 and was affirmed as a final order on March 13, 2012), with respect to a workplace located at 8441 NW Prairie View Rd., Kansas City, Missouri.
