29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph (b) On or about July 10, 2012 employees were working on a roof performing roofing work without fall protection exposing employees to a fall hazard of greater than 25 feet. THE CHRIS ZAMASTIL DBA ZAMASTIL CARPENTRY WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.501(B)(13), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 92438, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 2 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON OCTOBER 23, 2011 WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 60-70 SHOREWOOD DRIVE, GLENDALE HEIGHTS, IL 60137. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
