29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i):  The employer did not ensure that each powered industrial truck operator was competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l):    a)  Hardware Resources, Inc., Elgin, IL:  On or about July 17, 2012, before allowing employees to operate forklifts, the employer did not train and evaluate forklift operators' performance in the safe handling and use of forklifts.     Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
