29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. At this work place, an employee involved in a framing operation of a four story building was installing support lumber at the height of approximately 50 feet and did not have a fall protection system in place. JC Framing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315172403, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on August 12, 2011 with a final abatement date of August 12, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at 929 Navigation Corpus Christi Texas, 78408.
