Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by traffic hazards. On or about July 11, 2012 Job site at Grand Central Parkway, Westbound, Left Lane, near Jewel Avenue a) Employees setting up for the lane closure did not set up advance warning signs to warn motorists of the work zone b) Employees setting up for the lane closure did not set up the lane merging taper according to the proper taper length calculation c) Employees setting up for the lane closure did not position the attenuator truck in advance of the work area WRITTEN ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION IS REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19.

WRITTEN ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION IS REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19.
