29 CFR 1926.21(a): General requirements. The Secretary shall, pursuant to section 107(f) of the Act, establish and supervise programs for the education and training of employers and employees in the recognition, avoidance and prevention of unsafe conditions in employments covered by the act. a) Jobsite: 1126 Rodman St., Philadelphia, PA- Employer did not provide training on the recognition, prevention and avoidance of hazards in the construction, especially while digging an excavation. On or about 6/13/12. Note: Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
