29 CFR 1926.100(a):  Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets:      a)  On or about July 25, 2012, and at times prior, employees were exposed to head injuries as they worked without head protection in areas where shingles and other roofing waste were being thrown from upper levels.        FOC Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) or its equivalent which was contained in OSHA inspection 313720393, Citation 1, Item 1, issued June 25, 2010, with respect to a workplace located at 7480 Terry Court, Arvada, CO 80007.  This citation became final on July 15, 2010.

FOC Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) or its equivalent which was contained in OSHA inspection 313720393, Citation 1, Item 2, issued June 25, 2010, with respect to a workplace located at 7480 Terry Court, Arvada, CO 80007.  This citation became final on July 15, 2010.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):  Employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were other provisions of paragraph (b) of this section used to provide an alternative fall protection measure:    a)  On or about July 25, 2012, employees were exposed to falls of greater than 6 feet while they performed roofing work on a single family home with no fall protection measures in place.        FOC Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) or its equivalent which was contained in OSHA inspection 313720393, Citation 1, Item 3a, issued June 25, 2010, with respect to a workplace located at 7480 Terry Court, Arvada, CO 80007.  This citation became final on July 15, 2010.
