G & S Construction worksite located at 19986 Lincoln Highway, Middle Point, Ohio: On or about July 27, 2012, the employer did not ensure employees were wearing fall protection while operating the articulating aerial lift (Marklift 4767) on the north side of the structure to access the working surface.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: A. G & S Construction worksite located at 19986 Lincoln Highway, Middle Point, Ohio: On or about July 27, 2012, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from falling approximately 52.00 feet to the lowest level. The exposed employees were painting a structure while walking on an unprotected area approximately 4.00 feet wide and 50.00 feet long without fall protection in place.
