29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about July 30, 2012, and at times prior there to, the employer did not ensure that employees performing roofing work were in use of fall protection. An employee for Capital Structures was observed working on the roof without fall protection. The employee was exposed to a fall of greater than 6 feet to the ground below.
