29 CFR 1910.242(b): Compressed air used for cleaning purposes was not reduced to less than 30 psi: (a) Sealy Mattress Company at 12555 East 39th Avenue, Denver, CO 80239: On and before July 30, 2012, the employer did not ensure compressed air nozzles used for cleaning off equipment throughout the facility were reduced to less than 30 psi. The compressed air lines were pressurized at approximately 55 psi. This condition exposed employees using the air hoses to the hazard of an embolism in the blood stream.
