29 CFR 1910.22(b)(1): Where mechanical handling equipment is used, sufficient safe clearances shall be allowed for aisles, at loading docks, through doorways and wherever turns or passage must be made. Aisles and passageways shall be kept clear and in good repairs, with no obstruction across or in aisles that could create a hazard: Facility, adjacent to Shipping/Receiving Area: Employees were exposed to tripping hazards from a flexible cord run across aisles accessed by employees.

29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1)(ii): Working space required by this standard may not be used for storage. When normally enclosed live parts are exposed for inspection or servicing, the working space, if in a passageway or general open space, shall be suitably guarded. Facility: In the following instances areas around electrical panels were blocked by storage of materials, reducing the effective acces space to less than the required three (3) feet: 1) Electriacal shut-off for the de-humidifier located above the RICOH Pro C751; 2) Panel IG-1, 120/208 volt, behind the Kodak NP-1 Nex Press SX 3900; 3) Panel IG-2, 120/208 volt, blocked by plastic step stool.
