29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): Machine guarding was not provided to protect operator(s) and other employees from hazard(s) created by: (a) Employees working in the Hearth Department were exposed to crushing injuries while working on and around the the transfer belt under Recipricator #1 and the employer did not ensure in going nip points were proeply guarded on the transfer belt. (b) Employees working on Packagine Line 1 were exposed to crushing injuries while working on and around the carton picker and the employer did not ensure that the carton picker was properly guarded.
