29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: At the time of the inspection, the "unload device" was not adequately guarded to prevent exposure to workers to in-running nip points at the main belt end of the conveyor. The existing guard had been cut away which allowed an opening of greater than 3/4 inch into the in-running nip point.
