29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(5)(i): Non-self-supporting ladders were not used at an angle such than the horizontal distance from the top support to the foot of the ladder way approximately one-quarter of the working length of the ladder (the distance along the ladder between the foot and the top support).        Worksite: The extension ladder that was used to gain access to the roof of the building under construction was not used at an angle such that the horizontal distance from the top supports to the feet of the ladders were approximately one-quarter of the working length of the ladder (the distance along the ladder between the foot and top support).

Worksite: The employees who were installing asphalt roofing shingles with pneumatic nail guns were not wearing eye protection.    SPC Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 390662, citation number 1, item number 1, issued on 6/5/2012 with respect to a workplace located at 190 Pine Rock Ave., Hamden, CT and became a final order on 7/9/2012.
