29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):     Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system.    a) 2 Nicole Court, Woolwich, NJ:  An employee conducting framing activities was observed working atop the second story wall top plate.  The employee was not provided adequate fall protection (PFAS, safety nets, guardrails, etc.) and was thus exposed to a fall hazard of greater than 18 feet from the working surface to the ground.  Observed on or about 08/23/2012.    NOTE: BECAUSE ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION IS ALREADY DOCUMENTED IN THE CASE FILE, THE EMPLOYER NEED NOT SUBMIT CERTIFICATION OR DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION AS NORMALLY REQUIRED BY 29 CFR 1903.19.
