Section (5)(a)(1)of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employess were exposed to fire/explosion:     (a). On or about August 13, 2012, the employer--Dauber Company, Inc., at 577 North 18 th Road, Tonica, IL 61370--exposed its employees to fire and explosion hazards that was created by using water to expedite its silicon brick curing process. Highly flammable and explosive hydrogen gas was thereby produced when the water reacted with ferrosilicon dross, a component of the bricks and caused an explosion.        No abatement documentation or certification required for this item.
