29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1): Open-sided floors and/or platforms four feet or more above adjacent floor or ground level were not guarded with standard railings (or equivalent) and toeboards:        (a) Production Area, Block Machine - The work platform at the top of the block machine did not have continuous guardrails (top and mid rails) at all open sides to protect employees from falls of approximately 11.5 feet to the ground below.     There is no documentation or certification required for instance (a) which was Corrected During Inspection.     (b) Bulk House, Outside Catwalk - The catwalk did not have continuous guardrails (top and mid rails) at all open sides to protect employees from falling from a height of approximately 12 feet from the catwalk to the ground below.     Abatement documentation is required for instance (b) in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).     (c) Bulk House, Outside Telescoping Conveyor Platform - The work platform for the operator controls for the conveyor did not have continuous guardrails (top and mid rails) at all open sides to protect employees from falling approximately 5 feet to the catwalk level below, and/or falling a combined distance of 17 feet to the ground below the catwalk.     Abatement documentation is required for instance (c) in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
