29 CFR 1910.1026(d)(3): The employer used the performance-oriented option; however, the employer did not determine the 8-hour time-weighted average exposure for each employee on the basis of any combination of air monitoring data, historical monitoring data, or objective data sufficient to accurately characterize employee exposure to chromium (VI): a) Employees who weld on materials, including carbon steel tubing, angle iron, plate steel, and copper based welding wire have potential exposure to hexavalent chromium, and no determination of airborne exposure was made, September 13, 2012. "ABATEMENT OBSERVED DURING INSPECTION - NO CERTIFICATION REQUIRED"
