29 CFR 1910.303(b)(8)(i): Electric equipment was not firmly secured to the surface on which it was mounted: Rio Grande Mexican Restaurants Inc, at 1101 Walnut Street, Boulder, CO: On and preceding 9/18/12, Rio Grande Mexican Restaurants Inc did not ensure that electric equipment was firmly secured to the surface on which it was mounted. Conduit containing live conductors traversed the employee break area to junction boxes holding switches which controlled the area's lighting. The conduit and junction boxes were not secured to the ceiling or walls. This condition exposed employees to an electrical hazard.

A junction box holding a switch which controlled lighting in the employee break area was not provided with a cover plate. Live parts were exposed. This condition exposed employees to an electrical hazard.
