29 CFR 1915.152(a): The employer did not provide or ensure each affected employee with the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for the eyes, face, head, extremities, torso, and respiratory system, including protective clothing, protective barriers, personal fall protection equipment, and life saving equipment, meeting the applicable provisions of Subpart I, wherever employees were exposed to work activity hazards that required the use of PPE: a) M/V Range Sentinel, Main Deck at Galley - Employees were observed stowing scrap metal near an open dumb waiter elevator shaft and not protected from a 21 feet, 1 inch fall hazard.
