29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents.    a) Jobsite located at 1 Stephenson Avenue on or about October 3, 2012, employees were using a Makita Finishing Sander, BO4556, without eye protection, thus exposing employees to eye injuries from ricocheting and flying debris. 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.    a) Jobsite at 1 Stephenson Avenue, on or about October 3, 2012, employees were working at or near the unguarded edge, thus exposing employees to a fall hazard of about 7-feet.  	  b) Jobsite at 1 Stephenson Avenue, on or about October 3, 2012, employees were working at or near the unguarded edge, thus exposing employees to a fall hazard of about 17-feet 6-inches.    ABATEMENT CERTIFICATON IS NOT REQUIRED
