29 CFR 1910.22(a)(2):  The floor of every workroom shall be maintained in a clean and, so far as possible, a dry condition. Where wet processes are used, drainage shall be maintained, and false floors, platforms, mats, or other dry standing places should be provided where practicable.    (a) H. Burger Lounge @ 1555 Blake Street, Denver, CO. On or before October 2, 2012, the employer did not ensure the slippery floor in the dishwashing work station and ice machine work area was maintained dry and/or provided with anti-slip mats. This condition exposed employees to slip and fall hazards that could result in injury.

29 CFR 1910.151(b): In the absence of an infirmary, clinic, or hospital in near proximity to the workplace which is used for the treatment of all injured employees, a person or persons shall be adequately trained to render first aid. Adequate first aid supplies shall be readily available:    (a)H. Burger Lounge @ 1555 Blake Street, Denver, CO. On or before October 2, 2012, the employer did not ensure that sufficient and adequate first-aid supplies were provided to employees for immediate medical use in the case of first-aid injuries.

29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1): Space about electric equipment. Sufficient access and working space shall be provided and maintained about all electric equipment to permit ready and safe operation and maintenance of such equipment.    (a) H. Burger Lounge @ 1555 Blake Street, Denver, CO. On or before October 2, 2012, the employer did not ensure that each electrical panel at the lounge bar and food preparation area(s) was maintained at a minimum clear working space of 3 feet to allow ready and safe operation and maintenance of such electrical equipment. The areas in front of the panels were used as storage space.  This condition exposed employees to an electric hazard.

29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit routes must be free and unobstructed. No materials or equipment may be placed, either permanently or temporarily, within the exit route. The exit access must not go through a room that can be locked, such as a bathroom, to reach an exit or exit discharge, nor may it lead into a dead-end corridor. Stairs or a ramp must be provided where the exit route is not substantially level.    (a) H. Burger Lounge @ 1555 Blake Street, Denver, CO. On or before October 2, 2012, the employer did not ensure that the back hallway leading to an exit was free from obstructions caused by, but not limited to the following: linen locker, large filters, and bicycles, thereby reducing prompt gain at all points of exit route. This condition prevented employees to evacuate the work area promptly and safely in an event of fire or other emergency.

On or before October 2, 2012, the employer did not ensure that exit door from the lounge bar was marked by a readily visible sign reading "Exit." This condition prevented employees to evacuate the work area promptly and safely in an event of fire or other emergency.    (b) The Exit sign from the kitchen area was not securely in place.
