29 CFR 1910.269(l)(2)(i) requires that no employee approach or take a locating clamp closer to an energized load center than the distances set forth in Tables R-6 through R-10 when the employee is not insulated from the energized part. Adequate steps were not taken to ensure that the requirement was complied with: (a) An employee experienced an electrical arc flash and burn hazard while connecting a locate clamp inside a PMH energized load center at the 29th block on Columbia Road, Grand Forks, North Dakota.
