(a) Front window roof dormers: Two employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 20'4" on a 10/12 pitched roof while installing Hardie-Plank Siding to the dormers while not attached to the fall protection system provided.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: (a) Front window roof dormers: The employer did not provide fall protection training to employees installing siding on a 10/12 pitched roof with an eave height of approximately 20'4" from the ground. Employees exposed to falls were were wearing inadequate fall protection systems with missing components essential to a complete fall protection system.
