29 CFR 1910.94(a)(4)(i)(a): When dust leaks were noted, repairs were not made as soon as possible: On or about October 17, 2012: a) Employees working in the Interior blasting booth area were exposed to hazards associated with explosive dust containing metals such as but not limited to iron, manganese, and chromium due to holes in the booth causing dust leaks outside of the booth. b) Employees working in the Exterior blasting booth area were exposed to hazards associated with dust containing metals such as but not limited to iron, manganese, and chromium due to holes in the booth causing dust leaks outside of the booth. c) Employees working on the Rescar Companies' grounds were exposed to hazards associated with dust containing metals such as but not limited to iron, manganese, and chromium due to leaks in the hopper system. Rescar Companies, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.94(a)(4)(i)(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 312528409, citation number 1, item number 18b and was affirmed as a final order on 1/03/11, with respect to a workplace located at 109 Ball Park Road, Gordon, GA 31031.

29 CFR 1910.94(a)(7): Operational procedures and general safety. Dust shall not be permitted to accumulate on the floor or on ledges outside of an abrasive-blasting enclosure, and dust spills shall be cleaned up promptly. Aisles and walkways shall be kept clear of steel shot or similar abrasive which may create a slipping hazard. On or about October 17, 2012: a) Employees working in the Interior blasting booth area were exposed to hazards associated with explosive dust containing metals such as but not limited to iron, manganese, and chromium due to holes in the booth causing dust accumulation outside of the booth. b) Employees working in the Exterior blasting booth area were exposed to hazards associated with dust containing metals such as but not limited to iron, manganese, and chromium due to holes in the booth causing dust accumulation outside of the booth. c) Employees working on the Rescar Companies' grounds were exposed to hazards associated with dust containing metals such as but not limited to iron, manganese, and chromium due to dust accumulation outside of the hopper system.
