Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that on November 5, 2012, an employee was exposed to 0.22 milligrams per cubic meter of 1,3,5-triglycidyl  isocyanurate (TGIC). Exposure to TGIC is capable of causing physical illness including allergic contact dermatitis, serious eye irritation, respiratory sensitization and occupational asthma, mutated DNA, and reduced sperm count as documented in reports by the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists, National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, and the World Health Organization.
