29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Points of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employees from having any part of their body in the danger zones during operating cycle: (a) Bending Area - Employees used a foot pedal to operate the Amada Promecam hydraulic press brake. Employees bent a metal reinforcing bracket for tractor trailer flooring, and the employees held this work piece to keep it positioned in the work rest and also reached into the point of operation to remove this work piece after the last bend. The press brake had no point of operation guarding, on or about October 24, 2012. (b) Bending Area - Employees used a foot pedal to operate punch station on the Kingsland iron worker, and the punch station had no point of operation guarding, on or about October 24, 2012.
