29 CFR 1926.405(g)(2)(iv): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided to prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws. On or about October 23, 2012, on the east side of the residential construction site, the employer did not ensure the power cord of the air-compressor was connected to a strain relief device to prevent pull from the terminal screws exposing employees to electrical hazards.
