29 CFR 1910.178(q)(1): Any power-operated industrial truck not in safe operating condition was not taken out of service, and/or repairs were not made by authorized personnel:    a) Department 3, Dry Pack Area, on or about, and at times prior to October 25, 2012, employees were allowed to operate a Toyota forklift, model 7FDU15, S/N 60219, with defective rear tires that were severely cracked, split, and displayed large chunks of rubber missing, thus presenting a risk to the operators and thereby making the forklift unsafe.    b) Department 55, Casting Area, on or about, and at times prior to October 25, 2012, employees were allowed to operate a Toyota forklift, model 7FGU32, S/N 62868, with defective rear tires that were severely cracked, split, and displayed large chunks of rubber missing, thus presenting a risk to the operators and thereby making the forklift unsafe.    ABATEMENT CERIFICATION IS REQUIRED
