29 CFR 1917.152(e)(2)(ii): Arc welding or cutting cable was used when it was not free from repair or splice for 10 feet (3 m) from the electrode holder. Dock Area: On or about November 1, 2012 and times prior thereto, employees were using an arc welding lead cut to the conductor that measured four feet from the electrode holder. This exposed employees to shock/burn hazards from contacting the conductor.
