29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): Machine guarding was not provided to protect operator(s) and other employees from hazard(s) created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: (a) The Wells horizontal bandsaw did not have the unused portions of the blade guarded. The right side measured approximately 8 inches and the left side measured approximately 2 1/2 inches. (b) The Niagara shear, operated by foot treadle, was not adequately guarded. The hold downs had an opening of approximately 7/8 inch.
