OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that, employees were exposed to struck by hazards from materials being released while under pressure in the DoAll metal cutting band saw, model # C-260A-2: On or about 11/1/12, the employer failed to provide the nesting accessory on the Doall metal cutting band saw, model # C-250A-2 for employees that perform cutting of more than one piece of bar stock. On 11/1/12 an employees hand was struck when two pieces of bar stock were in the process of being clamped together, popped up, struck the employees hand, and the employees hand came in contact with the blade of the band saw.
