29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1):     Open-sided floors and/or platforms four feet or more above adjacent floor or ground level were not guarded with standard railings (or equivalent) and toeboards:    Note:  Toeboards are only required when persons can pass, there is moving equipment or there is equipment with which falling materials could create a hazard.    a) Oven Room - On or about November 7, 2012 and times prior to, the employer did not ensure that employees who accessed the top surface of an industrial sized oven to perform cleaning operations, were protected from potential fall hazards of about 7 feet, 4 inches onto concrete ground due to the elevated work platform being open on all sides.     b) High Pressure Receiver Catwalk (Engine Room #1) - On or about November 8, 2012 and times prior to, the employer did not ensure that employees who accessed the high pressure receiver catwalk for maintenance duties, were protected from potential fall hazards of about 16 feet onto earthen ground due to the elevated work platform having open sides adjacent to the high pressure receiver and adjacent to the condenser catwalk.     ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS NOT REQUIRED    Rich Products Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard [29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1)], which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314096545, citation number 01, item number 003 and was affirmed as a final order on June 7, 2009, with respect to a workplace located at 200 Glyndale Drive, Brunswick, GA 31520.

29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A):     Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure:     a) Chemical Cage, South Wall - On or about November 6, 2012 and times prior to, a flexible cord that was connected into a 120-volt wall mounted junction box was used in lieu of fixed wiring of a structure to energize an overhead fluorescent light, exposing employees to an electrical hazard.      b) Chemical Cage, North Wall - On or about November 6, 2012 and times prior to, a flexible cord that was connected into the same 120-volt wall mounted junction box, was used in lieu of fixed wiring of a structure to energize an overhead fluorescent light, exposing employees to an electrical hazard.      c) Dough Mixing Area Control Room - On or about November 7, 2012 and times prior to, a flexible cord that was connected into a 120-volt wall mounted junction box, was used in lieu of fixed wiring of a structure to energize a water meter, exposing employees to an electrical hazard.      d) Dough Mixing Area  - On or about November 7, 2012 and times prior to, a flexible cord that was connected into a 120-volt wall mounted junction box, was used in lieu of fixed wiring of a structure to energize a floor scale, exposing employees to an electrical hazard.      ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS NOT REQUIRED    Rich Products Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard [29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A)], which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314096545, citation number 02, item number 003 and was affirmed as a final order on June 7, 2009 with respect to a workplace located at 200 Glyndale Drive, Brunswick, GA 31520.
