29 CFR 1915.56(b)(2): Welding cable was not free from repair or splices for a minimum distance of 10 feet from the cable end to which the electrode holder was connected. Deck of Shaver barge: On or about November 7, 2012 and times prior thereto a employee was using a welding cable cut to the conductor at 12 and 30 inches. This exposed employees to burn/shock hazard if they came in contact to the conductor.
