29 CFR 1910.106(e)(6)(ii): Class I liquids were dispensed into containers without the nozzle and container electrically interconnected: Sundance Boats work area: On or about November 8, 2012 and times prior thereto, 55 gallon drums of acetone and hydrox were being dispensed into secondary containers without being grounded to each other. This exposed employees to fire hazards in the event static electricity ignited the material.

Sundance Boats work area: On or about November 8, 2012 and times prior thereto, the table saw used for cutting wood did not have a system in place to keep it from restarting in the event of a power failure. This exposed employees to amputation/laceration hazards to the hands in the event the saw restarted after a power failure.

This exposed employees to struck-by hazards from not being protected from a properly guarded bench grinder.

29 CFR 1915.134(b): Work rests were not kept a distance not to exceed 1/8 inch from the surface of the wheel. Sundance Boats work area: On or about November 8, 2012 and times prior thereto, the work rest on the abrasive grinder measured 1/2 inches. This exposed employees to struck-by hazards in the event their work piece got jammed in between the rest and the wheel causing the wheel to shatter.
