29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1): Open sided floor(s) or platform(s) 4 feet or more above the adjacent floor or ground level were not guarded by standard railings (or the equivalent as specified in 29 CFR 1910.23(e)(3)(i) through (v)), on all open sides of the overhead platform leading to and including the tanker trucks: a) Dana Transport Avenel, NJ site - Tank wash department: Platforms and/or overhead cat-walks located in the tank wash area were not provided with means to prevent employees from accidentally falling from the cat-walk and/or the tanker trucks. Employees are exposed to falls when they access the walk way before properly connecting their body harness to the anchor point. Condition noted on or about 11/28/2012.
