29 CFR 1910.95(i)(2)(i): The employer did not ensure that hearing protectors are worn by an employee who is required by 29 CFR 1910.95(b)(1) to wear personal protective equipment: a.) 160 Area - On or about November 19, 2012, Ametek MK-2 noise dosimeters were placed on two employees in the 160 area. The dosimeters were allowed to run for 400 and 403 minutes, respectively. The equivalent 8-hour doses were 125.7% and 66.6% with the associated 8-hour time-weighted averages being 93 dB and 88 db, respectively. The company did not ensure hearing protection was worn by employees in the production area.
