29 CFR 1910.95(g)(8)(ii): When a physician did not determine that the standard threshold shift (STS) was not work related or aggravated by occupational noise exposure, the employer did not ensure that the steps described in paragraphs (A) through (D) were taken when a standard threshold shift occured: (a) Temple Aluminum Foundry, Incorporated - The employer did not take action as required in parapgraphs (B) through (D) when the Finishing Foreman was found to have an STS during the May 30, 2012 audiometric test, on or about December 12, 2012. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
