29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): Roof, 644 Armory Street, Springfield, MA, 01104; Employees were observed working on the residential roof at 644 Armory Street, Springfield, Massachusetts, with an eave approximately 20 feet 7 inches from the ground with some employees not having personal fall protection and others wearing harnesses that were not attached to lanyards and anchor points. Fitzgerald Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926.501(b)(13)) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 313207235, citation number 1, item number 1, issued on November 10, 2010, with respect to a workplace located at 55 Hopkins Place, Longmeadow, Massachusetts. The final order date for the citation was on November 30, 2010. Fitzgerald Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926.501(b)(13)) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 313205908, citation number 1, item number 1, issued on August 23, 2010, with respect to a workplace located at 205 Hopkins Place, Longmeadow, Massachusetts.
