29 CFR 1926.304(d): A portable, power-driven circular saw was not equipped with a guard above and below the base plate or shoe: a) West side of residence. An employee was using a Makita (SN 995079) seven and one quarter inch circular saw to cut siding to size for installation. The blade guard of the circular saws had been blocked in the fully open position exposing the employee to amputation hazards.

29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Employees on scaffolds more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above a lower level were not protected from falling to that lower level by fall protection established in paragraphs (g)(1)(i)-(vii) of this section: a) West side of residence. The employees installing siding from a working platform of a pump jack scaffold, approximately 11-feet 8-inches above ground level, were exposed to fall hazard, as the employees were not wearing personal fall arrest systems and neither guard rails nor safety nets had been installed.
