29 CFR 1926.1433(d)(5):  Posted warnings. Posted warnings required by this subpart as well as those originally supplied with the equipment by the manufacturer were not maintained in legible condition.    On or about December 4, 2012, at the construction site, the safety decals on the crane's boom and the decal on the side of the crane warning of the swing radius were damaged.  The decals warn the operator about removing the pins that hold the boom's sections together before the boom is supported and to avoild the swing radius of the crane.  This was a Model LS-138H II, Serial number H7I9-2512.  This condition exposed workers to the hazard of being stuck by parts of the crane.
