29 CFR 1910.134(g)(1)(i)(A): Respirators with tight-fitting facepieces were worn by employees who had facial hair that came between the sealing surface of the facepiece and the face: Located at 201 Hartzell St., Alliance, Ohio 44601: On and before December 4, 2012, the employer allowed an employee who had facial hair, that interrupted the seal between the facepiece of the dust mask and his face, to wear a dust mask underneath his abrasive blasting respirator helmet. It should be noted that there was no supplied air for breathing being supplied to the abrasive blasting respirator during abrasive blasting operations.
