(a) Rick Hammond Construction, LLC: On or about December 13, 2012, at worksite located at 39245 Chestnut Ridge, Elyria, Ohio, the employer did not ensure that an employee installing roofing material on a residential-type structure with a pneumatic nailer wore eye protection.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety nets systems, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure: (a) Rick Hammond Construction, LLC: On or about December 13, 2012, at worksite located at 39245 Chestnut Ridge, Elyria, Ohio, the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from fall hazards while installing roofing and weatherproofing material on a residential type structure. The employees were exposed to falls up to 18 feet to the ground. The Rick Hammond Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 110146, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 02/02/2012 with respect to a workplace located at 501 Park Ave., Elyria, Ohio.
