29 CFR 1910.134(g)(1)(i)(A):  Respirators with tight-fitting facepieces were worn by employees who had facial hair that came between the sealing surface of the facepiece and the face or that interfered with valve function:    Argus Contracting LP, at 625 West 13th Avenue, Denver, CO: On or about 12/10/12, respirators with tight-fitting facepieces were worn by employees who had facial hair that came between the sealing surface of the facepiece and the face or that interfered with valve function.  Argus Contracting LP was removing asbestos containing material, including transite panels, from the Xcel Energy Capital Hill substation.  Argus Contracting LP directed the asbestos work done by workers of PES and HELP.  Argus Contracting LP required the use of North model 7700 tight fitting air purifying half mask respirators with P100 filters when working in the regulated area.  Argus Contracting LP did not ensure that all respirator wearers did not have facial hair that came between the facepiece seal and the face.  This condition potentially exposed an employee to an asbestos hazard.
